  • Paper
  • Rulers
  • Ping Pong Balls
  • Cups
  • Paper Clips
  • Dice

How to Play:

  • Create a numberline using the ruler and paper
  • Roll Dice
  • Try to Bounce Ball into Cup
  • If you make it, move paperclip to the right the number of spots you rolled on the die
  • If you miss it, move the paperclip to the left the number of spots you rolled on the die
  • Record number on scorecard sheet as a positive or negative integer

Understand rational numbers and ordered pairs; place pairs of rational numbers on the coordinate plane (6.NS.C.6)

Interpret statements of inequality and write, interpret, and explain statements of order for rational numbers (6.NS.C.7)
